Pros
Department colleagues are great and there is a wide variety of places to go during lunch to hangout at
Cons
Stuck in the Past: The company is heavily weighed down by old-fashioned thinking and using cost as the only evaluation criteria. Innovation is actively discouraged, and the standard response to any new idea or process improvement is "this is how we’ve always done it." Trying to modernise anything feels like pulling teeth.
Heavy Politicking: Instead of focusing on actual performance and output, a massive amount of energy goes into managing egos and navigating unnecessary office politics.
Blatant Favoritism: The Managing Director (MD) openly shows a strong personal preference toward one single employee/department. This individual can do no wrong, receives the best opportunities regardless of merit, and has a direct line to the top, which completely destroys team morale and creates a highly toxic, uneven playing field for everyone else.
