Pros

Was hired in at decent pay, raise after 90 days, get your own cubicle and locker, some intelligent and pleasant co-workers, an hour for lunch, nice bathrooms, some exercise equipment upstairs, personal trainer comes 3x a week, right off 77, quick interview process, benefits after 90 days including life insurance, they introduced me to everyone when I first started

Cons

-Family owned & operated, nepotism is obvious. I've seen family members throw hissy fits and threaten to quit. -Stressful & serious environment 95% of the time. -Certain co-workers are angry, unprofessional and rude every day, adds to stress & difficult to learn. My training questions were met with condescension and hostility. - The family is always cussing and yelling at each other, techs, vendors, etc. - Employees are in the hot seat daily, frequently getting blamed and/or yelled at. - My training process was unorganized, confusing, and lacking. - They don’t understand why things take new employees time. They wanted me to complete large tasks in an absurd amount of time (I wanted to ensure I did things correctly so I didn't get yelled at). They didn't understand my training and learning needs. They thought my methods for organization were a waste of time. - A lot of mistakes were made by others which made my work take longer. - Everyone gossips and whispers about each other. I knew when ppl were whispering about me. - Unorganized company, old school, still quotes in Excel. They use 3 different software platforms. No one wants to use the software correctly/maximum potential, they think it would take too much time to transfer & learn. - I was told the techs' schedule is only 60% accurate in the software, one person is essentially in charge of scheduling and not everything makes it on the official schedule. - Unprofessional environment. I was also asked my political views in a group meeting, and was told by the owner that the best political view is Conservative Republican. Another family member then said she believed I was a Democrat. Fox News is always playing in the front lobby. - Strict, felt like I was under a microscope. Inter-office chat is strictly policed. Most days I rarely said anything to anyone because I was made to feel I was behind on my tasks (I'm usually known for being super-efficient). - Daily random (long) management meetings that seem to take away from work getting done. - Potential to be on call after hours and on weekends. Potential to work weekends- project based. - I felt I would never get any credit at this company, and I couldn't thrive there. - Shared driveway is full of huge potholes. -Having a personality matters Zero there. You're a peon. - This was the first job I've ever been fired from, and after 2.5 weeks. There was little explanation or warning. I felt it was political and that certain family members didn't like me or felt threatened by me. Given how the company is ran, I wasn't very surprised at my sudden termination.

Pros

Great compensation, benefits, travel if you want. This company has great communication, just like anything else this relies on both employer and employee. Individual experiences may vary. The higher your level of professionalism and expertise will determine how easy the work is.

Cons

Minor logistical issues, which you see within every organization, a majority of which are due to third party reliance.
