Pros

F-Secure has a great knack of employing amazing staff; super hard working, talented, passionate and collaborative. In my experience there was no obvious hierarchy (which was great) and my direct managers were very supportive and personable. The clients were also fantastic to work with, all very down-to-earth and appreciative of the services we provided.

Cons

Most teams are severely understaffed and overstretched; employees have started leaving in droves across the business (whilst with F-Secure, my team shrank from 5 to 2), but sadly this trend started over a year ago but no real effort was seen from upper management to fix this, so the majority of the best talent has now left. This put huge pressure of the teams remaining; working long hours and taking on way too many responsibilities (particularly new employees being thrown in the deep end), which has in turn affected the quality of services the company provides. There was also lack of communication between sales; many times the sales team sold hundreds of days of client work, without confirming if there was in fact consultant availability. This caused further stress for the engagement team to find a near-impossible solution to meet the client's expectations. Low salaries was likely the initial contributing factor to the mass exodus, so it's sad to see the company is now spending $$$$ on advertising in Times Square and putting saunas into offices when this money could be better directed to their amazing employees.

Pros

Decent pay and industry positioning

Cons

Senior leadership is not at the level they should be. Strategy changes all the time and their is fear of investing in their own business. The claim of culture being a "fellow" is fake.
