Pros
High job satisfaction. I can help pilots every day and help people get to where they need to be. I keep people safe. The pilots make me love the job.
Cons
Union lets bad employees get away with everything. Management has no control. It is almost impossible to fire anyone, even in the most egregious circumstances. Management stopped doing “tape talks” years ago amongst other quality control assurances. Some controllers are extremely rude to pilots as well and there is zero correction from management.
