Pros
- you get to work with smart, decent people on some projects. - great office location. - they try to teach you all aspects of running the consulting business.
Cons
- a lot of politics and no HR - you have to be on good terms with the senior management to get anywhere. - they love exploiting younsters especially on the technical track. The most frustrating part is that you might have multiple projects and multiple managers at the same time due to costs saving mechanisms. People get pushed to their limits under a disguise of "this is consulting", "all hands on deck" when management messes up. - manipulation and mental abuse towards the inexperienced is quite common. - I witnessed and experienced myself gaslighting, cover-up and hostile pushback after submitting a legitimate concern about the unprofessionalism and abuse by some of the managers. - stay away from Jerome
