Pros

There is a difference between "socially warm" and organizational culture that drives common understanding and success. Finn Partners combines both the social connection and the reason to believe in the firm's work and future. Clients and community are at the heart of the Finn Partners collaborative drive for success. Growth is very important to the leadership. Yet, it's with the goal to do well for the employees and determine how the Agency directs its prosperity to impact society.

Cons

Growth requires patience among colleagues - to listen and to get to know each other. The managing and senior partners talk the talk and walk the walk of Agency culture and values. There are really no leadership outliers. To make it work well, the Agency invites people to its corporate retreat center in Hunter, New York, and invests in its future. There aren't many "cons" within this place - but it doesn't pretend to be perfect.

Pros

Prioritizes work-life balance and enormous openness to feedback.

Cons

Limited opportunities for growth (I was part of a team that had no promotions in 6+ years, despite the fact that all of them are amazing), DEI façade to "pretend" they're part of a progressive movement (I'm nonbinary, I said this in my application and interview process, and literally no one ever used my correct pronouns, especially my manager who I talked about this with several times), and there's a lot of chaos that folks simply accept as a fact of life rather than something to grow from and improve. There's simply no desire to collaborate for growth—literally one of the most dysfunctional places I've worked at.
