Pros

Finn Partners was recently awarded Best Agency to Work For and it is evident to me why that is. We have exciting and fun brands as clients. Great holiday parties and networking events, vacation packages, wellness benefits and more are all offered and encouraged to be taken advantage of. Its very rare to find an agency this size that emphasizes employee satisfaction and actually delivers on that promise.

Cons

As a junior-mid level employee, you have to make some noise if you want to be heard by management. Managing Partners & Partners (who are already overloaded with client and new biz responsibilities) are managing up to 8 employees each which, in my opinion, is not fair to either party. As much as I love the summer boat cruises and happy hours, what matters most to me is professional growth. Promotions and raises are not given out on a consistent/fair basis and I think it all points to the absence of a solid professional development structure.

Pros

Prioritizes work-life balance and enormous openness to feedback.

Cons

Limited opportunities for growth (I was part of a team that had no promotions in 6+ years, despite the fact that all of them are amazing), DEI façade to "pretend" they're part of a progressive movement (I'm nonbinary, I said this in my application and interview process, and literally no one ever used my correct pronouns, especially my manager who I talked about this with several times), and there's a lot of chaos that folks simply accept as a fact of life rather than something to grow from and improve. There's simply no desire to collaborate for growth—literally one of the most dysfunctional places I've worked at.
