Pros

You get 4 weeks of vacation

Cons

Never work for this company. Like other reviews, they are only out for the bottom line. I worked for a company that was acquired by them in the past couple of years. Most of their growth has been with acquisition. Once we were acquired, our benefits dropped significantly. The previous company had decent health coverage and 401K. The benefits under FIS were awful. Who would buy insurance that has deductibles of 2-3k and then after that, the co pay is 30%? Our 401K plan was also cut in half. Along w/ terrible benefits, this company doesn't do anything to develop their people. Getting money for training was like pulling teeth. Even though our benefits declined along w/ development opportunities, that was not the worst thing they did. Last month, they decided that they no longer wanted to be in the consulting industry. I understand from their business model, it isn't a money maker for them. My group(consulting) was dissolved. We were all billable on a client. FIS wanted us to continue at our current positions without any interruptions. This means that FIS didn't want to invoke any further penalty for prematurely terminating a contract with the client. To continue our operations at the client, FIS said that we could go with a local staffing company but we had to make a decision over the weekend. The staffing company came in and gave us their pitch and by Tuesday we had to tell them. We were given a 4 day window to make a decision about our employment. FIS said that if we go with the staffing company, they would NOT pay out severance. FIS was firing us but didn't want to pay out severance. Super classy of them. After the staffing company gave us their pitch, we were given a salary number. What I would later come to find out is that FIS gave all of our salary info, vacation, etc to the local staffing company weeks earlier without ever telling us or asking us. FIS tried to put the squeeze on us and make us decide within days which really back fired on them. The majority of the group took the severance and left. If you think FIS doesn't pay out severances, check their site You'll see top execs get severance payouts from their recent acquisition of SunGard. Unless you are a top exec, FIS will try to screw you out of severance after firing you. I guess that sums up why I would or you shouldn't ever work for this company

Constant RIFs every three months, re-badging large group of people in spring 2026, management talks about things but it never seemed to trickle down. Stock down more than 50% since Feb. 2025.
