      Excellent Benefits/Poor Morale - IT PM FIS Employee Review

      Pros

      The benefits and perks at FIS are excellent. Great healthcare and ancillary benefits from the mundane like food to flight/hotel discounts to car buying. You name it they have a program for it. Also they just started a tuition reimbursement program for interns and new hires.

      Cons

      It is one of thee most toxic environments that I have ever chosen to work in. The technology is dated and there is a very high number of tenured staff that are not all very inclined to share work processes and procedures for job security.

      Pros

      Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

      Cons

      After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
