FMD Architects Response
3yWe are sorry to hear you did not feel like you fit into our culture long term. We strive to provide a great environment, including the relocation of our offices to a new space that took a lot of effort from management both during and off hours to make happen. Our team has loved being in this space as it helps contribute to our “Work hard, play hard” approach to our careers. When we are here, we work intensely, but we want each person to enjoy and have a life outside the office as well. Our staff’s average number of hours worked per week in 2021 was 43 which is a pretty typical year for us. Our turnover since COVID has been consistent with what many businesses are working through right now, with people relocating, looking for work from home positions, or doing a re-assessment of where they want to be in life. We are thankful for every person that is on our current team and the camaraderie we enjoy. There are many types of firms, from those that focus solely on retail, to generalists that work on a bit of everything but don’t have a specialty. We are intentional about the project types we pursue and get to experience a variety of work within each of our focused studios. Our clients appreciate this expertise as well. We have individuals that have made and enjoy their career here, and we hope you can find that right fit for yourself someday, too.
