Pros
Experience - side effect of one if the cons. Brand looks good on CV by people who have never worked here. Decent tech stack - somewhat popular in NZ.
Cons
Money - some people have this as a pro, i completely disagree. It's average for NZ, but for a company this size, their stupid expectations and terrible work culture, it's just laughable. Working overtime - goodluck and get used to it. High turnover rate - ever wonder why they have so many job ads? Hint: newbies are cheap. I dont remember what the strategy is called, but they layoff a bunch of experienced people every year and replace them with less experienced / cheaper ones. Fake people - politics and bureaucracy. Enough said. No room for leveling up - you have to fight for your life to get promoted. It cost them money. The higher ups want all the money. Recruitment process - personally found it terrible and realized it was definitely not worth the effort in hindsight. This is a typical corpo in a capitalist society with terrible regulations. Expect to be chewed up and discarded. The money is 100% not enough for the amount of bs you have to endure.
