Pros

FPT Asia Pacific has a positive and collaborative working environment with a genuinely nice team vibe. There is a strong pool of technical talent across testing, product knowledge, and delivery processes, and teamwork is clearly emphasized. Colleagues are supportive across roles, with a culture of helping one another rather than working in silos. The onboarding experience is also smooth and well-coordinated, with the TA team providing clear guidance and support throughout the transition. The company makes a conscious effort to support employee well-being and work-life balance. There are regular social and sports activities such as badminton tournaments, weekly Sunday badminton sessions, and company outings, which help build camaraderie beyond work. I work alongside many senior colleagues who have been with FPT since early in their careers, some for more than 10 years. This speaks to the company’s ability to retain talent and provide long-term career stability. Despite current market challenges, FPT remains the largest ICT provider in Vietnam and continues to demonstrate resilience and strength in the region.

Cons

The market environment is tough, and this requires the company to make and execute difficult decisions. At times, this can translate into pressure on teams and the need to adapt quickly to change.
