Pros

Lots of down time to work on professional development.

Cons

I was hired for the "Naperville" location which has never opened and when I drove by the address given by my manager it is not even a FYZICAL clinic. I was hired 7 months ago and was told it would be ready in 1 month. Every therapist I have trained has been told the same, that they will temporarily work at a different facility for 1-2 months then be transferred. No one has ever been transferred to the non-existing clinic. There is no trainig given. I was expected to self train and then expected to train all new PT and PTAs. This clinic has a very high turnover rate. I am 1 of 2 of the longest standing employees. Most employees stay for 1-2 months because the ridiculous demands and unprofessionalism from the owner. He is not in healthcare and asks of many unethical and fradulent behaviors. He additoinally will ask to work overtime then not pay you. He also will not pay you your full working hours and then you will need to go through the department of labor and fight for your wages, which is a hassle. It's a waste of time and a stress to work for him.

Your points about the Naperville location and the miscommunication regarding its opening are concerning. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. Regarding training, we acknowledge that effective and comprehensive training is crucial for both personal and professional development. We will take immediate steps to review and enhance our training programs to ensure that all employees receive the support and guidance they need. The issues you've raised about unethical and fraudulent behavior, as well as concerns about payroll, are extremely serious. We have strict policies in place to maintain ethical standards and compliance with labor laws. We are committed to creating a fair and supportive work environment and your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention. We appreciate your contributions to the team and are dedicated to making the necessary changes to improve our workplace.

Pros

Flexible hours, teamwork, coworkers become like friends and family. I’ve worked in healthcare my entire career, and this is by far my favorite position I’ve held. From the day of my interview, I knew this was where I wanted to be and was genuinely excited about the opportunity to join the team. The owners are open-minded to new ideas and supportive of growth, and everyone shares the same goal of helping as many patients as possible. The collaboration between all three disciplines (PT/OT/ST) really encourages teamwork, and as a result, coworkers quickly become close. It’s a very supportive environment where everyone lifts each other up. I truly look forward to continuing to grow alongside this company and am excited to see what the future holds!

Cons

Wish I lived a little bit closer to the clinic, but my teammates and patients make it worth it!

Pros

Quite honestly, the only pro was two amazing builders that I met.

Cons

Complete bait and switch when it comes to compensation, bonuses benefits, and culture of company. Scientology beliefs they’re highly enforced and any negative comments about the company or the owners is not tolerated. Therapist are rewarded for seeing as many patients as possible within a day CCS. Are judged based on how many patients they can actually get to schedule which honestly falls on the company itself not the person being forced to ha ask them to make appointments. Bonuses are advertise as part of compensation however, various departments are consistently told that the structure has not been yet developed. One of the owners himself has greatly enforced “B plus work and out the door”. Questionable, legal and ethical handling of patient’s records and billing practices.. quantity over quality is enforced. In the 20 years, I’ve worked in medical billing, I have never in my life worked for two owners that view, patient care the way that they do. That is saying a lot since I’ve never worked for a company that treats children with autistic and developmental disabilities. I stayed for two months before I quit and in that time 24 therapist and 3 administrative employees quit. Not one person left with a good thing to say about the company or the owners.
