Pros

I like working at FabCom because of the incredible team that has been built here, the fun Fabtime events, and the well-stocked kitchen. Additionally, I've gained a wealth of knowledge not just in my own job duties but also in other roles, which has been fantastic for my professional growth in this industry.

Cons

One of the downsides of working here is the absence of an employer match for retirement plans, so I need to fund my retirement on my own.

Pros

FabCom is an awesome company to work for if you're willing to do your best every single day. The team is highly driven and consistently out-performs. If you're young and entering the marketing industry, FabCom is the best place you could be. The CEO and senior team members spend a lot of one-on-one time with new hires, teaching the art and science of marketing and advertising. There is a true wealth of knowledge that surrounds the company that is invaluable to anyone looking to truly understand the industry and produce best-of-class marketing. The work is fun and varied, always offering something new to learn and try. The company operates as a tight-knit family business with family values, relying on morals and ethics as a backbone for difficult business decisions. The kitchen is always stocked with snacks and drinks, and there's always treats being brought in. Brian and Jennifer take care of the team like they're their own.

Cons

Most people aren't a good fit for the company. The work is very highbrow and can be very technical, most new hires aren't able to synthesize concepts for 6-12 months, resulting in a lack of efficiency and high turn over rates of new hires. You need to put in the effort, brain power, and work to stick around—lazy doesn't cut it here. Additionally, the workload is incredible. While this ebbs and flows, when the agency is busy, it's a lot of overtime. Get ready to strap on your boots and earn your place to work here.
