The owner understands the machinery and the industry extremely well. Some of the projects that come through the door can't be done in other shops, so it's always interesting pushing the limitations of the machinery and yourself.

In such a prototype-driven company, you often have to change gears quickly while needing to be able to pick up where you left off once you go back to your other project. If you develop an efficient personal process, this shouldn't be a big issue.

Fabricating solutions is a great group of people. I had a really nice experience there as I learned many skills of the trade.

The cons are that the benefits package was not that great. They had a lack of proper ventilation in the shop and constant breathing of toxic fumes and silica from grinding disk is extremely bad for your health.
