Great place to start your career after university. You are given a lot of responsibility and exposure to the finance industry early on. Career progression can be quite quick if you are serious. Very young work force which adds to the fun atmosphere in the office. Work life balance is also very good. Starting salary very high compared to others within the same industry.
Cons
Though you are given the title of consultant, this job can feel more like glorified IT support. Though you are given a lot of exposure to the finance industry, you are only involved with a very small part. Though the starting salary is very high and you are reviewed every 6 months, there are no pay jumps if you end up receiving a promotion. If you are ambitious, you better be interested in a career in sales. If not, this job can feel like a dead end.
