Pros

Nothing I can think of.

Cons

Management is saying all the right words about values and people, but next day they fire without notice and severance. There is no 401k match. FQ doesn't offer any benefits. It's almost impossible to have a day off. They would text and ask to work on the day off.

Pros

- Great coworkers, except for management. - Interesting product, but management will ruin it.

Cons

- no 401k match - no FSA - no PTO structure. This seems like a perk, but if you suddenly need to take time off to care for your family, management will get upset and start questioning your work ethic even though you've already cleared time off in public channels. - you will get fired if you share concerns with management - the CEO talks about trust and being available if you have concerns, but if you mention those concerns to HR you will get fired - HR and management will promise growth opportunities but will not allow you to take those opportunities when they are available. Instead they will hire their friends from outside the organization without giving you the opportunity that they had originally promised. - the CEO is incompetent and makes decisions for the engineering team without consulting the developers. He does not listen to the people he chose to lead; ie, the head of engineering. - the CEO wants all workers to blindly agree to every decision without being consulted. If you state that you would like to be involved in or at least informed of decisions regarding your team, you will get fired. - the current engineering leaders have no plans of how they are going to rewrite the tech stack, and they do not want input from engineers on how to rewrite it. If you ask for more details or more discussion about the changes, you will get fired.
