Pros
2 stars instead of 1 star because of the right people and camaraderie if you get into the right team under the right leadership during digital businesses era.
Cons
The transformation of the “New Digital Business,” now known as the Omnichannel COE encompassing Omnichannel, Retail Media, and eCommerce has introduced significant challenges within the organization. The work environment has increasingly been shaped by internal power dynamics, favoritism, and a culture of uncertainty. Some long-standing members of the organization, including leaders and peers, have exhibited behaviors that suggest a shift in priorities, with a noticeable change in how they interact with “air” others. While leadership emphasizes the importance of a mindset shift, this change should have been embedded much earlier during digital business days, rather than being driven by a climate of apprehension. Additionally, the organization remains top-heavy, raising questions about the distribution of resources and recognition. Leadership frequently engages in exclusive team meals, while the broader working teams who are instrumental in driving the business forward receive limited recognition, typically in the form of quarterly buffet sessions. Despite these challenges, there are a few specific capable leaders (Axelle, Bryan, Karen, Winson, Jaren, Jonathan) within the business unit. However, they are constrained by the current environment, limiting their ability to drive meaningful change.
