Faith Technologies Incorporated

Is this your company?

It’s definitely not an apprenticeship. - Electrical Apprentice Faith Technologies Incorporated Employee Review

Pros

The pay is decent. I started at $22 an hour.

Cons

If you are actually looking to become an electrician, this is not the job for you. You get hired on thinking you’re going to work for FTI in the field, but the actually put you on the Eccelorate side which is their sister company. It’s an assembly line and nothing more. You do the same task over and over and over again. You don’t actually learn anything relevant to being an electrician. I spoke to several people who earned their journeyman’s card by collecting hours there but they’ve never actually been in the field and they don’t even know how to hire a receptacle. It’s not a horrible job for someone who is ok with working the assembly line, but definitely not the place for someone who is looking to become an actual electrician.

Pros

Work life balance and benefits

Cons

Being an engineer here gives you Stockholm syndrome. The jobs are challenging and stimulate the brain but you are treated as a third class citizen and the engineering team as a whole is considered more of a nuisance than a necessity.
