Business outlook
Pros
Ability to grow within the company was always available to the right candidates. Good benefits Pay was competitive Front line workers were covered under a Union. Overtime was available often.
Cons
Inability to see the larger picture and support markets outside of the flagship market ended up in a severe downsizing. Internal training for positions in management was lacking. Workload for management was excessive. No work life balance in any position as issues that were impacting the workplace were not addressed in a reasonable time frame. Obvious aversion to collective bargaining was evident. Pay structure was set up for conceptual equality, but was instead heavily problematic.
