In this environment there are high expectations with a low ability for control from the employee. Overtime, it is impossible to feel like you are accomplishing anything. There is also a feeling of upper management is oblivious to poor behaviors that happen while on the clinical floor or they overlook them. Incivility is the best way to describe the environment and how it is causing lack of engagement amongst the staff.
