Pros

So easy a caveman could do it

Cons

Tried to fire me over a hearsay claim that never happened, gave me 10 minutes to write down my statement on the matter on a piece of notebook paper, didn’t call me on the day they said they’d get back to me THE LATEST, district manager ignored my text message when I was trying to call her to professionally resign, then called me telling me they were “separating my employment” with no explanation. no regard for one of their best employees of many years. they never paid me for two separate occasions where i was made to do the work of a higher position - HR simply wouldn’t give me the back wages because the woman was “on vacation”. every system constantly breaks, leaving you to get screamed at by customers. confusing deals and conditions on them make us get screamed at and we are constantly put in danger by the lack of loss prevention. the company has done nothing every time i’ve been put in danger. favoritism runs rampant

Pros

It is a job. Store level coworkers are pretty cool.

Cons

No payroll budget, means every day of the week someone has to spend hours alone in the store. Corporate leadership have no idea what it is like to work in a store. Pay is pitiful, I have keys to the building but only get paid a dollar more than the high schooler who makes minimum wage. They promised to give everyone a pay raise on their anniversary date, no one in my store has seen a single cent extra. Started as a full time employee, the company decided to change my job title company wide and I got put to part time. Once you are in the company you are stuck in that job title, there is no chance for advancement, management would much rather higher from outside the company over giving promotions.
