Pros

Sporting Innovations has a fantastic downtown office, and a great product premise. Building software for the Sports and Entertainment industry is a promising market, and a fun opportunity. Sporting Innovations has attracted some very bright employees who are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Sporting Innovations shows serious problems at the executive level. During my time at the company, I was continually shocked, not only by their incompetence, but by their cold and callous treatment of employees. The incompetence stems from an obsession with 'vision', and a total disregard for execution and product delivery. Employees at Sporting Innovations are treated as easily replaceable parts. I've witnessed behavior from senior executives that can only be described as bullying. Loyalty to management is the most valued job skill in an employee. Sporting Innovations is Big Business, but with worse pay, little recognition for your work, and fewer good people around to stand up for the average worker. If you are looking for a fun, innovative, tech startup here in the Silicon Prairie, keep looking.
