Pros

- Good for ,,one and done'' - Nice Offices - ,,OK'' work/life balance - Access to Udemy - Basic benefits

Cons

- Poor leadership with lack of vision. Especially COVID-19 showed lack of competency - missed opportunity to benefit more from it - More and more managers hired (instead of being promoted) - Old-fashioned top-down hierarchy/organizational style - Tons of managers, VPs, SVPs, Directors, etc. - No merits for 2 yrs - More and more tasks without increasing salary accordingly - Execs hiring their friends - Constant rounds of lay-offs ( to save money, yet still hiring more and more managers and other mids) - Creativity and innovative thinking getting killed by managers (No feedback, no interest, too scared) - Loooooong and poor decision-making process (reminds of huge banks/car-manufacturers) - Absolutely no way to get promoted, hiring from outside 100% more preferred - No bonuses

Thanks for sharing and for working with us over the last 1-2 years. If you have some ideas to share relative to your cons, I hope you have raised them to your manager as there are many opportunities to make an impact here, thats the benefit of a smaller sized company - every person counts. I'll have to disagree with your promotion comments and have the data to prove it.

Pros

I loved working with the team as a mixing engineer for music production. Everyone was so creative and fun to work with. I was also a sound designer for various projects within the company. Very flexible and cool people.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like about working with them.

Pros

Fandom is the most welcoming and accepting place I've ever worked. Every person I've seen join has been welcomed in and really brought into the Fandom community. As a community-driven website Fandom makes efforts to listen to the fans and proceed accordingly. I feel like I can have big ideas at Fandom that may actually be done.

Cons

Lacking a real sense of direction. Lots of great departments doing great work, but the throughline gets lost sometimes. Depending on your role you can be exposed more or less to the raw internet and upset users.
