Pros

Great Benefits yearly 3-5% bonus Work life balance is pretty good Lots of resources to develop on

Cons

I was put on a team where all my seniors had 20 year+ of experience. I never got the chance to work on anything that made an impact, any work that I could have worked on to learn how to do the role to get hands on experience would be assigned to me then finished by my teammember. So for almost 3 years I had work complete by my coworkers and when I attempted to work on work my tech lead would tell me not to worry and just focus on small tasks. So being there for 3 years I barely progressed as a software engineer. Which is great id you want to coast by but I was let go when they let go our high performers and when I was told to pick up their slack and asked for assistance they let me go and replaced me with a contractor with 20+ years od experience.

Pros

Great team and luckily for me great leadership in my direct line up to my SVP.

Cons

It’s horrifying how things have changed since Pulte took over. Layoffs, elimination of entire job categories but not the responsibilities of those jobs. It’s not just you work more because a teammate is gone, it’s do a completely different job while still doing you job plus all of your layed off coworkers job.
