Pros

1. Travel out of country (even some software developers) 2. Learn about the full product life cycle 3. Helping education sector 4. Coworkers besides management are nice, hardworking, cool.

Cons

1. Very volatile management. Both are emotionally unstable and throw temper tantrums. 2. Culture. So much politicking from the top spirals down. 3. Insane turnover. Anyone who stays longer than a year deserves a prize, it is record setting. Employees are hired with the expectation that most will be fired as part of "standard" HR process. The remaining employees fear for their jobs. Four sales/support people were hired once. Two were fired in two weeks, one quit the third week, and the last one was fired around six months later along with two other people. Other people quit on their own usually within 1.5 years. 4. No work life balance. Be expected to work 60+ hours a week. Any less than that is out of the norm and you will be judged. 5. Bad pay. You can see the low salary listing on the job postings. Performance based bonuses are insulting. Taipei employees received a $100 USD bonus for New Years in 2014 and 2015. 6. "No formal vacation policy" means you really can't take days off because arbitrary revenue targets must be met every week. 7. Everyone is afraid to be themselves. Too much politics means everything on surface looks good. Can't be honest.
