Work / life balance isn't good (but with all the extra hours you will learn a lot!). More projects in flight than can possibly be accomplished with the given staffing. Onboarding of new customers is consuming every department to the point that existing projects are suffering. Several managers who don't know when to push back or set realistic expectations for project tasks create the above scenario. Understanding who has responsibility for what is a significant challenge. C-Suite has more than one under performer, and is very territorial (except the CFO who works well with everyone). Developers and Infrastructure are isolated from each other following leadership examples. Only at the individual contributor or PM level do they interact. Strategy sessions are reserved only for those deemed worthy by management (its not an actual skillset decision).
