Pros

Senior controller is great -- couldn't imagine a better boss. Work life balance is great. Free to set hours so long as you get work done and make sure you're available for urgent tasks and meetings.

Cons

Nothing significant to report here.

Pros

I love working at FarmTogether and have nothing but positive things to say about the company, culture, work environment (remote), collaboration, mission, etc. We're building something that has the potential to be huge, not only for our investors' pockets, but globally and for generations to come, as we're funding a sustainable future for humanity. A few pros to keep the review short: 1. Truly diverse culture - our team is from all over the place (Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Thailand, California, Denver, Oregon, Texas, New York, etc). It's incredible to work amongst colleagues with such different backgrounds and perspectives. While the differences in time zones can be challenging and takes some getting use to, I think it's one of the coolest aspects of our company and culture and very rare to find. 2. Fully remote (even regardless of Covid) - provides everyone with the flexibility to live the life they want, where they way, and to travel! Huge plus! 3. Mission Drive - I've never worked for a company that has such a strong mission. It's amazing to be working on something that is truly for the greater good. 4. Growth Potential - As an early stage company, there's an incredible amount of room for growth. The skies the limit in terms of what you can work on and how far you can progress in your career here. 5. Not Meeting Heavy / Very Independent - This type of environment isn't for everyone, but I personally love it. It's a very independent culture, not meeting heavy, and rather we collaborate online through the use of various platforms. Everyone is able to set their own daily schedules, goals, and priorities. This is wonderful if you're self-motivated, but can be hard for those looking for a ton of mentorship and guidance on their day-to-day. 6. Incredibly Intelligence & Hard Working - Always learning from my colleagues, each individual is so intelligent and has such an extensive knowledge of their function and department.

Cons

The only con (which isn't necessarily a con) is that everyone is very passionate about what we're building and as a result we work a lot. This isn't your typical 9-5 job, we're up and on slack early in the morning and late into the evening. This doesn't occur every day, but if there's something to get done, we have a "nothing like the present" mentality and will work hard until its done.
