Pros
The best reasons to work at FedEx Freight East is because the people there are great to work with, the work is great, the pay is great, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. The people there are very friendly, and every couple months we'll have an off work outing which helps everyone get to know each other. The management is wonderful, and I consider them my friends just as much as I consider them my bosses. There no where is else in the area that I live that will pay me as much as I get at FedEx for the work that I do there. This is a job that you don't go to work dreading what it's going to be like that day. You actually have fun, and get a lot done at the same time.
Cons
There are a couple downsides to working here however. Since I do a lot of data entry (which means I'm on the computer a lot), I get headaches every now and then from looking at the screen. I also do check in drivers when they hand in their paper work, and sometimes I feel like I'm doing more than the other associates that get paid the same as I do. For instance, I can bill more than they can, and check in drivers (while all they're doing is billing), but we get paid the same rate. And, there isn't a way that I can get a raise, because the pay will always remain the same.
