Pros
It’s an easy job if all you do is run freight and nothing else. Every 30 days without injury/accident/incident the company throws a BBQ which is really good most of the time.
Cons
All levels of management from supervisors to operations managers to Service Center Manager lack basic communication skills. Nobody knows what or why anyone else is doing what they’re doing. There’s so much miscommunication. Additionally the laziness of most employees affect the work others have to do. Some lazy supervisors will have employees throw random pieces of freight inside a trailer then close it… leaving someone to bring up what seems like an empty trailer… but then they have to deal with it.
