Pros

Discounted shipping rates, a couple amazing coworkers.

Cons

Very long hours. Normal for me to go 2-3 weeks straight with no days off. 3 days off in the last 2 months. Severely understaffed all the time. Customers take out their anger of wait times on you as if you made the choice to be running a store meant to have 20+ employees with only 4, and that includes management. This is in a location open 18 hours a day. It's easy to do the math. Upper management will work you to the bone for your measly paycheck while they enjoy their salaries which in my case comes out to be 5 times what I make. Came in over qualified for the position, and will be taking one of the other much more lucrative job offers I have on the table. Lost over a year of my life and this job has put a huge amount of stress on myself, my wife, and my children.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
