Pros

Job security, business growth. Standard benefits package. Not bad if you can manage multiple tasks, all of which interrupt each other, while supporting a team that may have your back to a lesser degree.

Cons

It's not as simple as it sounds. Multiple systems, products and services. Long learning curve to feel reasonably proficient. Very busy with high customer traffic. Other team members have varied level of competency, leading to imbalance of work being done by each. The better you are the more you will be doing, and the more that will be expected. Open 7 days, so expect a lot of weekends and closing shifts. Lots of metrics, none of which track who is actually doing the work.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and supportive team environment. Gained strong customer service and communication skills while helping with printing, shipping, and handling different types of orders.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement since you often have to wait for someone to leave before moving up.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
