Pros

Print work is quite varied, like a box of chocolates. Every day will be something new, which keeps things interesting...

But you will be SO busy with the shipping side you will hardly be able to focus any of your energy into customer's print projects. Pay is abysmally low compared to the complexity and pace of the work required. FedEx Office as a company is in the middle of a wage crisis. Hard workers are leaving left and right to go flip burgers for ENTIRE DOLLARS PER HOUR RAISES vs the workload you will face at FedEx Office. Upper management will email the company boasting about "RECORD PROFITS THIS YEAR" but anytime you ask for a pay increase they will complain about "not being able to afford giving everyone a raise." So WHICH IS IT? (We all know the company can afford to pay everyone better, it's called CORPORATE GREED). I kid you not I saw Kady's Car Wash attendants getting hired on at $17 an hour in the nearby neighborhood and almost everyone on my team was barely making over $13.50 an hour. There is NO opportunity for growth unless you are best friends with upper management/district/regional management.

Friendly coworkers and supportive team environment. Gained strong customer service and communication skills while helping with printing, shipping, and handling different types of orders.

Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement since you often have to wait for someone to leave before moving up.

Pros

Have a Strong staff and great customers -for the most part. Don't see my boss but 1-2 month.

Cons

The corp fluff to accomplish something. Setting all these goals and targets then forget about 90% until it's time to do the yearly "anonymous" survey. Then you see which stores had how many surveys done. 🙄 Keep it short and sweet it would be more effective. Have outstanding customer service but don't do anything personal in your store to recognize your customers. Be different but don't show it 😂 Working for Amazon now with no more pay. It benefits the store not us in our paychecks. At times unrealistic expectations with a high volume store and a staff of 4-5.
