Pros
The people in the production area and the supporting departments were incredible, hard working employees. The Plant Manager was solid.
Cons
Management was unimaginably bad. One manager was the equivalent of a school yard bully. Seemed to enjoy chastising employees in a public forum. He would do it during teams conference calls on camera, during sit down meetings, and during line meetings with 30 to 50 employees witnessing the tongue lashing. The other seemed to be perpetually confused from one day to the next and didn't seem to have any real knowledge of a true automotive quality system or the processes outlined in said system. Top 3 reasons proven quality corrective actions would not work in this plant: 1. Production employees will never go along with that. 2. Production employees will never go along with that. 3. Production employees will never go along with that. Process was driven and controlled by what the Production Employees would or would not do. I have no idea how they continue to operate but it makes sense that there is a revolving door in which employees in all departments come and swiftly go.
