Pros
They are one of the few employers who are willing to take a long time to train you. There is a lot to of information to know and they want to make sure you grasp it all. The pay is good for the area (more than $15/hr), the benefits are good, and the people are that work there are nice and professional-minded.
The company has also been around quite a while and is doing well. It's a solid company and very little turnover rate.
Cons
Too much talk of politics! That's the one thing I find very offensive and unprofessional. Maybe great for you I suppose if you're in a department where you all share the same political values? In my department, I think I am the only one who is on the opposite political side of everyone. Almost daily half of them are complaining and swearing outloud about things to do with politics. I can't say anything because I am outnumbered and it would turn into an argument. Best to not talk politics at work!
