Pros

Ferguson offers decent pay and bonus after 1 year of employment.

Cons

I was excited to start this job and thankful for the offer of employment. Unfortunately, on day-1 the employee assigned to train me lacked any training or social skills. I was called "stupid" for not understanding the direction. That was a look into the atmosphere at this location. On day-2, a non-Ferguson truck driver was making a delivery. While I was helping him offload, he stated to me "what is wrong with these Oklahoma Ferguson's, they are all messed up and unorganized". I should have known at this point that I had made a grave mistake. I kept my head down, did as directed and when there was down time, I kept the warehouse clean and organized. I had to purchase my own steel toed boots but was promised additional PPE paid for by Ferguson. When I inquired, my manager rudely responded, "we will order when you hit 60 day mark". Oddly enough, my 60 day mark was only 2 days away. Every time I inquired about how to access my account through Workday to get copies of my paystubs, I could never get any instruction. The people are rude, unhelpful and aggressive. The site manager, Dan, is an awful little man who has ZERO managerial skills. Save yourself the stress and anguish and steer clear of this location.

Pros

None, I would say remote work but it’s very toxic.

Cons

Poor leadership (manager and director), poor communication, poor training, unrealistic m expectations, micromanagement, no SOPs, lack of structure, FLSA violations, no upfront disclosure of what role is, stingy management. People outside of HR are great. In HR? They’re happy to lay people off and talk about it so casually during meetings. Think “it’s our yearly layoffs” and joking about catching people “slipping”. No opportunities for growth despite saying there was during interviews. Interview and reality are worlds apart. No diversity. Severe control issues. No new people have been hired in over 3 years yet multiple people have left so people are burnout. One person handles all of one process alone and management thinks that’s ok. For reference the same process takes 10-11 associates in the same sized org. I can go on. Stay away!!!
