Pros

By getting grilled you do get to learn. At the same time you also have cross cultural exchanges. You get salaries on time and benefits are decent.

Cons

There are no defined policies. HR is probably the weakest I have ever seen. They might just throw a surprise just before the appraisal like 'oh we have a new policy' or 'you know this decision has been taken by the center'. The benefits & treatment to the expats with respect to locals is so bizzare that it's not even funny. Expats take all the decisions irrespective of the lack of their knowledge on a particular subject. There is a lot of chaos and after working tirelessly on projects, the direction is changed so all efforts go in vain.

Pros

Great products. Good holiday schedule. Pretty good work-life balance. Base compensation and bonus pretty good. Stability (little to no layoffs)

Cons

Bad management. No perks whatsoever beyond base and bonus - no profit sharing, not even matching charitable contributions. 401(k) company match is low. Favoritism, unequal workload and resource distribution, and major accountability issues. Transparency issues.
