Many opportunities to explore all aspects of the business, as every employee wears many hats and interacts with other departments on a regular basis. Also great opportunities for direct interaction with senior leadership and C-suite. Most managers empower their employees to explore and implement calculated business cases for new processes and activities.
Cons
From a culture standpoint, leadership is very bottom-line driven, which means some policies and practices have been put into place for cost savings at the expense of other considerations. Also, internal communication could be more consistent and transparent.
