Don't fall for the positive reviews on Glassdoor; they are clearly bought/paid for - Account Executive Fictiv Employee Review

Pros

I can't really think of any

Cons

It was a terrible company to work for. There were cases of sexual harassment towards women from an upper management exec. Nothing was done about it. A lot of POCs felt threatened on a day to day basis. Everyone was severely underpaid. The negative reviews nail it. HR will gaslight you which reminds me of a very jovial people's business partner who gaslighted me of my negative experiences. She was with the company for about 5 years and tore many people down purposefully while laying them off. The CEO Dave felt very comfortable communicating that he will always pay below market and money shouldn't matter even if we're being overworked. He also has a strange way of discussing issues related to people of color. It was disturbing and a very weird way of exhibiting a white savior complex. Most people in the SDR team were vastly overqualified for what they were doing. They were all engineers who Fictiv felt comfortable taking advantage of by promising them to promote to an engineering role which they never did. I am sure even the few positive reviews on here are bought or paid for. There are some places you really know where change isn't possible and Fictiv is sadly one of them. If you have any other opportunity, please take it. You'll get paid better. From personal experience, the personal trauma and your mental health and quality of life just isn't worth it.

Let me start by thanking you for taking time out to share your thoughts. We highly value all feedback, so we can improve as a company and take all posts extremely seriously. As a growing company, we continue to invest in Fictiv in every way and have been prioritizing our diverse workforce and our highly engaged and supportive culture that stresses all our values, including having a service mentality and compassion for others. Thus, while we encourage and highly appreciate all feedback, we do not pay for any reviews from any current or former employees. Whether through our employee engagement surveys, Ask Me Anything surveys, 1-on-1’s, exit interviews, or our Employee Resource Group, we are always looking for feedback about how we can continue to nurture our environment so everyone is comfortable as their authentic self and so Fictiv can make any needed changes to ensure that diverse voices across our employees are heard and represented. Throughout 2021, we have focused considerable time and effort on our DEI journey and are looking forward to our continued focus in 2022 and beyond. At Fictiv, we listen intently to all concerns brought to our leadership and People/HR teams. 2021 has brought major growth to our company, which has meant significant team expansion across every department, including our People/HR team and leadership. As a result of this maturation, we have a natural and fresh mindfulness towards every aspect that impacts our company. And while Fictiv has always had a Zero Tolerance policy towards any type of harassment, we for sure stand by this same zero tolerance today for every employee. Harassment of any kind is not and will not be tolerated. Any employee found violating this policy will receive disciplinary action, up to and including separation of employment. This policy applies to every Fictor, regardless of their role or position in the company. We are sorry you feel your experience at Fictiv was unsatisfactory and that you feel we let you down. If you are open to it, we would like the opportunity to talk about your feedback further. Please feel free to contact our People/HR leadership at PeopleOps@fictiv.com, including our new Director, People Operations and our new Vice President, People.

Pros

This is hands down the best place I’ve worked in my career. The culture is thoughtful and supportive, leadership genuinely cares about people, and You are surrounded by incredibly smart, driven teammates. We move fast, which keeps the work challenging and exciting, and I’ve grown more here than anywhere else. It’s a place where you’re trusted, pushed to do your best work, and supported along the way.

Cons

We can move to fast for some people
