Fidelis Care

Part of Centene

Is this your company?

Great experience for someone fresh out of college (like I was), but the company is too religious for my taste. - Marketing Representative Fidelis Care Employee Review

Pros

Good benefits, good starting salary, provided training in NYC, very flexible hours, and this is a job you don't have to bring home with you after 5 pm. The days go quickly since you are out and about so often. Very little amount of time in a cubicle. No quotas. Paid on salary.

Cons

Management has a negative attitude towards young and up-and-coming professionals. I am currently pursuing an MBA, (none of the managers in my department have more than a bachelors degree) so they all have a chip on their shoulder towards me. The company is quite religious (CEO is a Pastor). Technology is a major problem at this company. This company is very eager to promote people from backgrounds they perceive to have put people at a disadvantage (minorities, women...) so a traditional hard worker might not rise up as quickly as they deserve.

Pros

Strong mission-driven organization with dedicated colleagues, meaningful work serving vulnerable populations, and opportunities to build deep managed care pharmacy, Medicaid, Medicare, quality, and regulatory experience.

Cons

Rapid organizational change, competing priorities, and matrixed decision-making can create operational complexity and make execution challenging across teams.
