Cons
This company is an absolute trainwreck. At the root of its problems is a narcissistic and abusive CEO who ignores all signs on how to actually foster a fun and healthy work environment and a COO who has put a paycheck before anything else. This company is not welcoming to anyone in the queer community. It actively seeks to work against making anyone but cis-gendered, heterosexual, white couples feel welcomed in their brand. The company has a problem with racism, referring to their Ecuadorian staff as a lower level of humans or only seeking to feature people of color as a means of tokenism. The CEO and COO will gaslight you when you voice your concerns and ridicule you for any mistakes. No team was ever supported in a way that success would have ever been achievable and were constantly blamed for any failures, even though those failures are a result of no guidance from top-level management. As an employee, I have never experienced such a complete lack of respect. The benefits were terrible, the pay was even worse. There is an expectation that you should work at an unhealthy level of production for terrible wages and be happy with it. The leadership of the two highest managing peoples is disorganized and that also becomes the burden of employees with little to no warning. The CEO will yell and humiliate you in front of others without any consideration. She has a micromanagement style that stifles any creativity or collaboration. The business practices of this company should lead you to not touch it with a 50-foot pole. By either stealing the ideas of the employees and claiming them as their own, or selling products they could not supply and only giving customers in-store credit. This company is toxic at best. Shame on the CEO Liza Roeser and COO Josh Brouse. It's ok to mess up, it's unforgivable to never accept feedback from those who are telling you that you hurt them. These two "leaders" have turned away some of the most talented and passionate coworkers I have ever seen and left them with workplace trauma that will take a serious effort to heal.
