Pros

I've been fortunate enough to work at Figure just over two years. The company has really big goals which means there is never a shortage of work to be done. Being a newer company our workload often comes with a lot of ambiguity. It's really challenging but also very rewarding to have so much ownership and impact on a company. That isn't for everyone and if you're not comfortable figuring things out with minimal guidance this isn't the company for you. What really makes this company is the employees. I can't speak more highly of my colleagues. The people who excel here are kind, sharp and easily adapt to change. We're a company of "get it doners" who never turn down a chance to help out a team member. I love working at Figure and being a part of our "Figure Family".

Cons

We are growing really quickly, so leadership often changes priorities quickly. This can be frustrating, but it also means that leadership actively listens to new ideas and is willing to pivot instead of forcing ideas that aren't working.

Pros

I have been with Figure for 5 years, starting as an Associate Engineer and growing into a Senior Engineer. This company has genuinely changed my life and helped me build the kind of future I dreamed about when I was first starting out in college. I’ve worked alongside truly excellent engineers, been given meaningful growth opportunities, and have been more than fairly compensated along the way, including raises that kept my pay highly competitive even between promotions. The work is engaging, challenging, and keeps me sharp. The culture is one of the best parts of the company: a rare blend of fast iteration, high ownership, strong engineering talent, and controlled chaos in the best possible way. Figure moves quickly, embraces emerging technology, and continues to grow without losing the energy that makes it exciting to work here.

Cons

The pace may not be for everyone. Figure has a startup-like culture where things move fast, priorities can shift, and teams are expected to adapt quickly. I personally find that refreshing and motivating because it keeps the work from becoming monotonous. However, people coming from environments where change is slower or processes are more rigid may need time to adjust.

Pros

Free health insurance, the option to work from home, pay was good.

Cons

They hire and fire at will. They have no real training program. They throw all this stuff at you and advise to take notes, then they tell you that you have 3 assessments to take. They tell you that you cant look at any of the documents or tools that they provided to you to do the job. How they expect you to know all that is impossible. Then they let you to believe that you passed and put you on the floor doing the job. Two days later they call you after you go home, to say oh you didnt pass training.. You didnt get the score of 85. Did not matter that I was doing the job and getting high QA scores. and they dont let you repeat training, they just fire you. You are just a number to them and not a human being.
