Hard to grow, family owned - Marketing Filtrine Manufacturing Employee Review

Pros

Close knit, people have genuine interest in you and care, lots of knowledge to learn.

Cons

Ideas have to come from a member of the family, if you suggest something they will say no and then suggest the same thing months later. Terrible compensation for job. Heavily underpaid positions. Hardly any vacation.

Filtrine Manufacturing Response

Filtrine highly values employee suggestions and contributions to Filtrine’s continued success. Filtrine formally reviews each suggestion in the twice yearly ISO Management meetings and decides if it is actionable. Since this post, Filtrine has completely revamped its compensation and time off policy to bring them in line with other employers in the region. In addition to vacation, Filtrine also offers a flexible PTO program.

Pros

Laid back Management Work at (your pace) type atmosphere CLEAN facility Staffed in-house Nurse Fully stocked lunch room Warehouse that provides what you need to do your job and do it safely! Sales personnel that clearly kick butt as there is not seemingly any shortage of work like ever. Weekly pay! VERY nice products that are fun to see built. Amazing co-workers. I'm 42 and this place is by far the strongest and most well built company I have ever worked for! I dunno there is a lot!

Cons

My only thing I wish was better is that they produced part drawings or prints for the parts I'm to produce. It would very much cut down the possibility of a mistake and very much increase production speed and stability.

Pros

They produce high quality "Made in America" products, while providing a "family like" workplace.

Cons

It's a relatively small business so upward mobility is somewhat limited in some positions.
