Financial Derivatives

Is this your company?

Not so much of a progressive place to work. There are very little opportunities to learn and improve on knowledge. - Asset Management Analyst Financial Derivatives Employee Review

Pros

- Most employees are positive and nice to work with despite the toxic environment.

Cons

- Micromanaging from top-level mgt - Top mgt is very vindictive to people who resign (delaying to respond to references unjustly) - No severance package after working for years. - Physical work environment can be depressing (ACs not working because they are too old, printers can malfunction often because they are too old, staff kitchenette looks very unkempt, only two staff toilets available and so on) -very manual processes, old desktop computers, quite outdated with little or no efforts to be up to speed with current trends, causing a lot of inefficiencies and frustration in carrying out the least of tasks - Environment is quite toxic, you can almost have panic attacks at the thought of going to work - Odd work hours, 7 am resumption, and 4 pm closure that can be very difficult to adhere to consistently.
