Pros
Majority of the people are great. Most managers were solid and good at protecting their teams. Great place to learn how to not operate a company. Money wasn’t bad.
Cons
If you value your career, don’t work here. Environment is dishonest. Perks are silly and immature. Leadership constantly berates senior leaders publicly and doesn’t provide adequate tools or clear direction. Company is built on the messaging to consumers that AI aids in clothing design process and reduces waste. All false. The process doesn’t use AI for this at all, it’s mostly leadership choosing what to create though they don’t have fashion experience or training so they makes a mess of things and wastes a lot of time correcting it. Leadership wasn’t allowed to re-enter the US so they fired the LA team and moved the operations oversees. Blamed it on tariffs. Despicable to see American venture capital money being sent oversees. Tends to hire ‘yes’ people with little experience and tends to avoid hiring qualified and experienced people so no one pushes back. Few folks who are chummy with the leadership, LGBT, or pleasers tend to be promoted. Initiatives start with a typical star-up energy like “move fast and disrupt” only to learn that the industry standard is superior. HR is inexperienced with silly and naive outlooks on work culture. Office was gross and filthy. Flies, trash, and bad smells everywhere.
