Pros
There is nothing positive to say
Cons
Most toxic, back stabbing workplace I’ve ever been in.
Management think that manipulation is the best way to people manage. Which is openly said by them in the office (and laughed about).
If you enjoy being lied to constantly then this is the place for you!
Bullying is common place in every department but nothing is ever done about it if reported. “HR” are masters in sweeping things under the carpet and then gaslighting to create a narrative that anyone speaking out is the issue.
Everyone is overworked and under appreciated unless you join ranks with the toxic management…
Anyone who leaves the business is constantly slated and spoken badly about in order for management to pretend everyone else is the problem not them.
Bullying, manipulation and gaslighting gets you far in the company, if you go against this you’re seen as a problem and a narrative of you will be fed around the office.
Pay is awful.
Working hours are ridiculous, told we have to work an extra 30 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes after the market has closed because people start shutting down at the end of the day and this way they get more out of the employees.
Will be judged for going to the toilet too much or making coffees.
Staff are treated like children - having to prove doctor appointments, take annual leave for doctor appointments and criticised if ever need to take a personal call which can’t happen at lunch. But of course management come and go and they please.
Also criticised by management for not working late or taking a full lunch hour, told this shows that we don’t care about our work enough.
Private and personal data is often casually discussed in the office between management and members of staff.
A few years ago we were told by management to write good reviews on here as there were some bad ones which are quite obvious as they were all done in the same week.
