Pros

This is a family oriented company that really cares about their employees. I have been an employee for 8 years. I am currently a sub school bus driver, so I go where they need me. I love taking field trips for the schools, bar runs and barn dances for the university students, but my favorite trips are weddings and overnights. Our customers are our #1 priority along with safety. "If you can't do it safely, don't do it" is the motto. For the most part this is followed to the letter.

Cons

There are both good and bad anywhere you work. It's the nature of business in general. At my location we have a lot of time off and no pay unless we use unemployment. There is also a lack of communication. The work is not physical, but there is a lot of wear and tear on your body. You also have a tremendous responsibility on your shoulders. If you cannot handle highly stressful situations then I suggest that this is not the job for you.

Pros

The pay for driving is good, however, "driving is only part of the job description. May be well compensated for contracted substitute driver in other locations

Cons

Although there are rules to establish safe, orderly environments for riders and drivers, they are not enforced, and appear symbolic and subjective. Drivers have to bow to whomever decides how it will be handled instead of what the actual rules dictate, creating unnecessary chaos. There also appears to be a good amount of favoritism at this location and company rules and regulations are rarely enforced across the board, resulting in employees doing as they please with little to no repercussions.
