I joined this company based on its seemingly positive Glassdoor ratings—something I now strongly suspect are misleading or outdated. The most accurate word I can use to describe my experience here is simply: eww.
The organization operates with extreme cost-cutting at the expense of basic professionalism and employee dignity. Management lacks the ability to communicate respectfully with internal teams, let alone with clients.
A specific example: I once missed a business flight due to unavoidable circumstances and immediately booked another flight to ensure I still met the client. When I submitted my reimbursement, the company cited a “policy” to reimburse the missed flight instead of the one actually taken—purely to save a few thousand rupees. That should tell you everything about their priorities. Any slight delay in client payments sends leadership into panic mode, revealing how fragile the business fundamentals really are.
Leadership is deeply concerning. The CEO shows no long-term vision, and the company appears stagnant for the last 8-10 years with no clear direction ahead. Despite this, the CEO compares the company’s product to OpenAI-level innovation—an assertion so disconnected from reality that it has become an internal joke.
After completing three months of probation, my probation was arbitrarily extended by another month with no written expectations or feedback. When I asked my manager what specific improvement was expected in that extra month, I received no clear answer. I resigned shortly after. Ironically, I was persuaded to stay—only to be asked to leave abruptly once a replacement was hired.
The exit process was worse. I was terminated immediately for applying four days of my earned leaves, under vague “misconduct” claims. My earned leaves were not encashed, no notice pay was provided, and my relieving and experience letters were intentionally delayed—clearly as a harassment tactic. These matters are currently under legal discussion with labour authorities.
Avoid this company, even during tough job markets. There is no meaningful learning, no job security, and no future here. Association with this organization risks becoming a permanent black mark on your resume.
