Terrible work environment!! The culture is toxic. There is a huge division between management (non-union) and staff (union). Very few policies are in place and HR will often refer you to the union for answers to basic HR related questions. The union steward clearly does not understand the need for confidentiality within her role and will often share employee issues with other staff members. Staff often bully each other and are not willing to help new employees unless they are getting compensated for it. Non-existent work/life balance. Upper management is always changing and so is the directive in the branch. A lot of individuals in upper management have no experience and are struggling in the roles they hold.
