Not enough Engineers on staff - lots of overloading and "many hats" mindset.

FirstLight has a fantastic team. While it is a smaller company, the culture is collaborative - lots of exposure to different people and departments on a day-to-day basis. Great benefits, awesome company events and perks, and the leadership team is approachable and proactive.

As mentioned, it is a smaller organization, so sometimes you can feel spread thin. Lots of involvement with different departments can be rewarding, but at times workload can be a bit overwhelming. Opportunities for growth can also be limited due to small size.
